With our work, we respond to the current conflict in Eastern Europe, which by its scope and nature demonstrates the long-lasting tension between the East and the West of Europe. We can see its effects, for example, in the issue of the standard of living of the inhabitants of Europe, human dignity and respect for human rights.

The uncertain situation of LGBT+ people in Hungary, the LGBT+ free zones in Poland or the absence of legal recognition of the relationships of LGBT+ people further east are only visible indicators of the complex latent situation of LGBT+ people in these countries. We therefore decided to provide support to LGBT+ people who come to the Czech Republic.

For LGBT+ adults who are

• from Ukraine,
• from the countries of Eastern Europe,
• from the countries of the Middle East and Southwest Asia (e.g. refugees from Afghanistan),
• minorities who speak English or German and currently reside in the Czech Republic as part of long-term migration (more than 3 months), with the Czech Republic being their destination country (not a transit country). 

For LGBT+ refugees and migrants we can help arrange housing, food, basic social counseling and crisis intervention. 

In connection with the mentioned factors, which are, among others, minority stress and experienced traumas, we mediate (and partially subsidize) individual psychotherapy and other supportive therapeutic activities related to mental health, such as relaxation workshops or yoga lessons. 

Our help is governed by the following rules, please pay attention to them.

Своєю роботою ми реагуємо на поточний конфлікт у Східній Європі, який за своїм масштабом і характером демонструє тривалу напругу між Сходом і Заходом Європи. Його наслідки ми бачимо, наприклад, у таких проблемах, як рівень життя жителів Європи, людська гідність та повага до прав людини.

Невизначена ситуація ЛГБТ+ людей в Угорщині, зони, вільні від ЛГБТ+ в Польщі чи відсутність юридичного визнання стосунків ЛГБТ+ людей на Сході Європи є лише видимими показниками складної прихованої ситуації ЛГБТ+ людей у цих країнах. Тому ми вирішили надати підтримку ЛГБТ+ людям, які приїжджають до Чехії.

Дорослим ЛГБТ+ людям, які:

• з України;
• з країн Східної Європи;
• з країн Близького Сходу та Південно-Західної Азії (наприклад, біженці з Афганістану);
• представників меншин, які розмовляють англійською або німецькою мовами та наразі проживають у Чехії в рамках тривалої міграції (понад 3 місяці), і для яких Чехія є країною призначення (а не транзитною країною). 

Ми допомагаємо ЛГБТ+ біженцям і мігрантам знайти житло, їжу, надаємо базові соціальні консультації та допомагаємо у кризових ситуаціях. 

У зв’язку зі згаданими факторами, якими є, серед іншого, стрес меншин та пережиті травми, ми виступаємо посередниками (і частково субсидуємо) індивідуальну психотерапію та інші підтримуючі терапевтичні заходи, пов’язані з психічним здоров’ям, такі як майстер-класи з релаксації або заняття йогою.
